Born in Oregon and raised in Montana, Kevin is a loving, humorous, animal-loving adventurer who is always excited to experience something new. He enjoys rockhounding, exploring unfamiliar places, collecting Starbucks mugs, and discovering what is waiting around the next corner.
Travel has not always been simple. Navigating language barriers and locating bathrooms—preferably before they become urgent—can add another layer of planning to every trip. Kevin was born with gastroschisis and malrotation and later had approximately two-thirds of his intestines removed.
He shares his experiences to show others living with medical challenges that travel may still be possible. With thoughtful planning, preparation, flexibility, and a sense of humor, Kevin believes more people can experience the world for themselves.
